Noblesville Schools did not have a solid print strategy in place, and as a result, they were overspending each month on their printers and other business equipment. There were various lease arrangements through numerous vendors that were difficult to manage. Supplies were consistently delivered to the wrong location, costing even more time and money to correct.
Noblesville wanted a new print strategy that offered one vendor, a lower cost, and better equipment and efficiencies for their IT staff to manage.
The Van Ausdall & Farrar specialists went onsite to inventory Aspire’s existing technology, identify any security vulnerabilities, review and evaluate existing equipment contracts, and recommend new and better solutions.
The goal was to eliminate technology they didn’t need, optimize the technology they had, and leverage new solutions that improved security, expanded access, and reduced cost.
Van Ausdall & Farrar started by eliminating unnecessary equipment and processes. They removed high cost, single function printers and shifted volume to lower cost, better quality multi-function printers. They consolidated Noblesville Schools’ current print contracts with multiple vendors into one calendar year, and then took over 25 of their equipment leases.
Van Ausdall & Farrar also implemented two needed solutions: Copy/Print Management and Print Application. These two solutions allowed Van Ausdall to restructure all print/copy systems that were in place, which further reduced Nobleville’s costs and simplified management.
Van Ausdall & Farrar’s solutions were so effective, the school system made Van Ausdall their preferred vendor going forward.
